I Mary Leckey of Fayette county in the State of Pennsylvania--being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding blessed be God for the same do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form--following to wit. Principally and first of all I commend my immortal soul into the hands of God who gave it and my body to the Earth to be buried in a decent & Christian like manner-- And as to such worldly Estate where with it has pleased God to bless me in this life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner. (to wit) I give and bequeath unto my daughter Agnes Huston my bed & beding I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Hannah Dunlap my cow I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Lecky daughter of Alexander my three sheep. And as touching the Residue and Remainder of my Estate of every description including all legacies or bequests made to me by my husband John Lecky decd. by his last will and Testament dated the 11th day of March 1818 &ct. I give and dispose of the same in the following manner to wit) I give and bequeath unto my son Alexander Leckey five dollars and the remainder I will to be divided into two equal parts and After defraying my funeral expenses I will and bequeath one part or the one half of my Estate unto my sons Thomas Leckey and John Lecky to be by them enjoyed in equal portions share and share alike. And the [other] half or part I will and bequeath unto my Daughter[s] Elizabeth Reed, Agnes Huston, Hannah Dunlap & Mary Jenkins to be by them enjoyed in equal portions or share and share alike.-- And Lastly I nominate Constitute and appoint my Son Thomas Leckey and my Son in Law Samuel Dunlap of German Township to be Executors of this my last will hereby declaring this & no other to be my last will and Testament--In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 23d day of June A. The 15th day of September Anno Domini 1827. Before me the subscriber Register for the Probate of wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said County personally came John Poundstone and James Wilson, the signing witnesses to the foregoing last will and Testament and one their Solemn oaths did respectively declare that the testatrix above named signed & sealed the same as and for her last will and Testament where in her right mind that no undue influence had been used or later will made by her to their Knowledge or belief and that they signed their names as witnesses thereto in her presence--witness my Hand & Seal of Office same day {Reg. seal} Alexander McClean Register Registered 15.
