In the name of God Amen. I William McClelland of German Township in the County of Fayette Pa being weak in Body but of sound mind memory and understanding, blessed be God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following to wit Principally and first of all I commend my Immortal soul into the hands of God who gave it and my body to the Earth to be buried in a decent and Christian-like manner and as to such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner to wit, Item I give and bequeath unto my wife Easther her bed and beding and all my kitchen furniture and two cows and as to the residue of my Estae real and personal after paying my just debts and funeral expenses I will that the same may be divided into four equal shares and I will one of said shares unto my wife Easther and one other share unto my son William and one other share unto my son David and one other share unto my son Asha and unto my other Children and Grandchildren I will as followith to be paid in equal proportions by the persons holding the aforesaid shares to wit to my son Robert one dollar to my daughter Elizabeth Allison one dollar to my son James to educate his daughter Nancy twenty dollars to my son John's children living each one dollar to my son Andrew two dollars to each of my son Enos's children living one dollar each and it is my desire that my wife Esther shall live in my Dwelling house and enjoy all my lands for one year after my decease And lastly I nominate and constitute and appoint my son William of Uniontown and James Wilson of German Township to be the Executors of this my will hereby revoking all other wills or bequests and declaring this and no other to be my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 4th day of January 1815 William McClelland Sealed Published and pronounced and declared in presence of us John Tibbs Alexander Wilson Fayette County REG-Seal The twenty second day of July Anno Domini 1815 Before me the subscriber Register for the probate of wills and granting of Letters of Administration in and for said County personally came John Tibbs and Alexander Wilson the signing witnesses to the foregoing last will and Testament and verbally attested that they saw and heard the Testator execute the same as and for his last will and Testament when of disposing mind that no undue influence had been used to thwart his inclination or later will made by him to their Knowledge and that they signed the same in his presence and in the presence of each other.
