I William McClelland of Union Township Fayette County and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania do make my last will and Testament in the following manner. Committing my Soul to God I dispose of my property as follows. I give to my beloved wife Sarah her bed and bedding now occupyed by her consisting of at least two lots of Sheeting and Casings together with the Necessary or customary blanketing and outward cover. In addition to the foregoing I Bequeath to my wife a Gray horse now on the premises her saddle & Bridel and a cow out of my stock at her own choice. And if the before mentioned Horse should happen to die before my decease, some other horse creature suitable for her use out of Stock or if none of that description shall at my decease be found Amongst my Stock a Suitable one shall be purchased for her use out of my personal Estate. Moreover I bequeath unto my said wife the amount of one third of my Personal Property that shall be found remaining at my decease to be Received and disposed of at her discretion. Also I bequeath unto my said wife the one third part of the Interest arising from the Amount of the sale of my lands during her natural life - as soon as convenient after my Decease. I allow my Personal Property not herein before bequeathed to be sold at public vendue and as well all my lands with respect to the time of selling my lands and the times and mode of Payment I leave to the discretion of my Executors not with Standing it is my desire that the first favourable opportunity in their Judgment should be embraced and where the lands shall be so disposed of and the personal property. I allow the proceeds to be equally divided amongst all my Children or their legal Representatives and at the decease of my said wife I allow the proceeds of the Real Estate before to her bequeathed during life also to be Equally divided as before I nominated and appoint my daughter Elizabeth Executrix and my Son John Executor of this my will. The twenty ninth day of June Anno Domini 1802 Before me Alexander McClean Register for the probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said County personally came William Harbaugh and Joshua Chinowith the witnesses to the foregoing last will and Testament and being duly sworn do declare that they saw the Testator sign and seal the same as and for his last will and testament that he was then of disposing mind & memory to the best of their knowledge and belief that no undue influence was used or later will made by him to their knowledge or belief.
