Book 12, p. 476 1898=1902 IN the name of God, Amen, I Elizabeth Newcomer being os sound and disposing mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, do make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First: I desire my funeral expenses and all other debts to be paid immediately and I give and bequeath the sum of four hundred dollars for the erection of a suitable headstone to my husbands and my graves in Hill Grove Cemetery. Second: I give and bequeath to my Oldest Son Clark Newcomer a note I hold against him interest and all of two hundred dollars and upwards. Third. I give and bequeath to my granddaughter Cora M. Baker the sum of One hundred dollars. Fourth: I give and bequeath to my granddaughter Sallie S. Allen, the sum of Three Hundred and fifty dollars ($350.) Fifth I give and bequeath to my son, B. F. Newcomer a Note I hold against him amounting to Two hundred and fourteen dollars with the accrued interest. Sixth: I give and bequeath to my son J. C. Newcomer the sum of four hundred dollars also a promisary Note of One Hundred dollars. Also, my household and kitchen furniture. Seventh:- I give and bequeath the residue of my estate to each of my remaining children. viz: Mrs. Lydia McIntire, Mrs. Ella J. Stahl, Stewart Newcomer, Albert Newcomer and G. W. Newcomer, share and share alike. I hereby and herein grant and empower my executor to sell and make deed for my real estate. I hereby appoint and constitute my son G. W. Newcomer executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me.
