We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ In the name of God amen, I Isaac Phillips of Springhill Township, Fayette County, and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and disposing memory and considering the uncertainty of this mortal life do make and ordain this as my last Will and testament in manner and form following. Whereas, I have already made provision as I have thought right for my several children as follows. To money paid to my son-in-law Peter Hertzog, Deceased, who was intermarried with my daughter Margaret to the amount of her share. I have also made a deed or title to land to my son Isaac Phillips Jr, also to Jeremiah Kendle Jun who is intermarried with my daughter Sarah, and also to my daughter Melinda which I have considered as their several shares. I have also paid to my son-in-law James Caldwell who is intermarried with my daughter Jane two Thousand dollars and to my son-in-law George H Patterson who is intermarried with my daughter Lourena two thousand dollars which I have considered as their several shares. It is my will and I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah should she survive me all my personal estate of which I may be possessed at my decease including all outstanding debt and bank stock to be disposed of by her as she should think proper during her natural life, and also at her death I nominate and appoint my son Isaac Phillips Jun and my son-in-law Jeremiah Kendle Jun Executors of this my last will and Testament. In witness that the foregoing is my last will and testament I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 19th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty six.
