We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ Will of James Renshaw I James Renshaw of German township, Fayette County and State of Pennsylvania considering the uncertainty of this life and being of sound mind and memory blessed by God for all his mercies do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows; First I give an bequeath To my two Daughters Elizabeth Ann Renshaw and Araminta Renshaw the part of my farm lying or being between John McKeans, Tanyard Lot and James Parshall Jr. land being what would be called the bottom Land the run or stream along the bank to be the Western line also all the land on the Eastern side of my farm that is all the land on the right side of the road going towards Isaac Crow's From Elias Parshall's. This is not to include the ten or eleven acres timber land adjoining lands of Isaac Crow and the heirs of Alexander Leckey, Deceased with my dwelling house and all the other buildings and appertaining or belonging to the said peace or parcel of land bequeathed. I also give and bequeath To my two aforesaid daughters My buggy and buggy harness also one horse their choice also one cow apiece their choice also all the household and kitchen furniture including beds and bed clothes bedsteads and beding Item I give and bequeath the balance of my real and personal estate of every description shall be sold and after paying all my debts the ballance(sic) of the proceeds of said sale or sales shall be equally divided between my two sons George Renshaw and John Renshaw and my three Daughters Mary Stentz, Temperance Shroyer and Nancy Vance share and share alike that is into five equal shares the real estate to be sold within one year after my decease. And lastly I hereby appoint and constitute John Wilson of Fayette County Pennsylvania Executor of this my last Will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Eighteenth day of August A.D. one thousand Eight and sixty five (1865) James Renshaw Signed sealed published and declared by the above named James Renshaw to be his last Will and testament in the presence fo us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as Witnesses the day and date above written. George Porter John Wilson Jr. Be it remembered that on the 26th day of April 1866 Before me Geo Morrison Register for the probate of Wills and granting letters of administration in and for said County personally came Geo Porter and John Wilson Jr the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and testament of James Renshaw died who being duly affirmed did depose and say that they were personally present and Saw the testator James Renshaw Sign and Seal and heard him declare the same as and fix his last Will and Testament that at the time of so doing he was of sound and deposing mind memory and understanding that they signed as witnesses thereto by the request of the testator in his presence and in the presence of all other that they knew of no under influence use or later will made.
