I, Asa J. ROGERS of the Borough of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any former time heretofore made. Item - 1. I order and direct that my executors shall purchase and have erected at my grave such tombstone as they think proper. Item - 2. I order and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid by my executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. Item - 3. I give, devise and bequeath all my estate and property real, personal and mixed, unto my wife Sarah Elizabeth Rogers, during her natural life or until she remarries, in trust nevertheess, for the following uses, purposes and trusts and no other (a) For the support and maintenance of my said wife Sarah Elizabeth Rogers during her natural life or until she remarries and for support, maintenance and education of my minor children for and during their minority and until the youngest shall arrive at the age of twenty-one years. (b) To keep all my personal property and money invested in safe securities and collect and reinvest the same. (c) To take possession and control of my real estate, keep the same in repair and pay the taxes, to lease the same and collect the rents. (d) To use and apply so much of the income arising from my estate as she may deem just and proper. blah, blah, blah.... seems to repeat this about 3 times but the ending has this info: Note: The children of Asa J. Rogers deceased, as appears from the Executor's petition in the Orphans' Court of Fayette County are William H. Rogers, Nannie (intermarried with Charles M. RUTTER), Louisa May, all of full age, and Emma Frances, Nellie B., Eleanora, Sara E. and Asa J. minors of whom Fayette Title & Trust Company of Uniontown Pa. is the guardian.
