Written: June 12, 1854 I Polly Anne Slonecker of Bullskin Township Fayette County and State of Penna being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory. Thanks be given to God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament (unk word) Item 1st I give and bequeath unto my beloved husband C. R. Slonecker all my estate that I now have and possess of whatever kind the same may be whether Real estate personal property or money and my said beloved Husband shall take immediate possession of the same after my decease and dispose off the same at his pleasure. He shall only pay all my just debts funeral expenses Item 2 And I further give and bequeath unto my said beloved husband C. R. Slonecker decd due and payable to me at the death of my Grandmother Mrs Lobingrer (formerly Mrs Stouffer) coming to me in right as heir at law of my deceased Mother and I do hereby make and ordain Henry D. Overholt my executor to this my last will and testament, Hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made ratifying this written on one Sheet of paper to be my last will and testament In witness whereof I Polly Anne Slonecker the Testatrix have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal this twelfth day of June AD 1854 Polly Anne Slonecker Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Polly Anne Slonecker as her last will and testament who at her request and in her presence & in the presence of each other signed our names as witnesses -- Jacob Overholt John Overholt Fayette County ss (hand written seal) On the 25th day of July Anno Domini 1854 before me the subscriber Register for the probate of wills & granting Letters of Administration in & for said countycame Jocab and John Overholt subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will & Testament of Polly Ann Slonecker late of Bullskin Tp in said county decd, and bring duly affirmed did depose & say that they were present and saw & heard the Testatrix sign seal publish & declare the same as & for her last Will & Testament when of sound mind memory & understanding, to the best of their knowledge that no under influence was used or later will made by her that at teh request & in the presence of her and of each other they signed the same as witnesses. In Testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal of said office the day and year aforesaid P. A. Johns Regr (unk word) Letters granted July 25 - 1854 to H. D. Overholt, Esq who was duly affirmed.
