We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ---------------------- Last Will and Testament of HESEKIAH WESTCOAT, written January 13, 1865; registered February 21, 1865 Know all men by these presents that I, HESEKIAH WESTCOAT of Washington Twp., county of Fayette and state of Pennsylvania yeoman, being in ill health but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament. And as to my worldly estate and all the property real personal or mix of which I shall ....... And possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease devise and dispose thereof in the manner following to wit: First: My will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my Executors herein after named be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall by him be found convenient. Item: I give devise and bequeath unto JOHNSTON DINSMORE and his present wife all the real property situate on the Monongahela River in the township of Washington, State and County aforementioned of which I am possessed of, together with all the buildings, improvements and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise as pertaining to have to hold and enjoy the same for and during their natural lives and thereafter to their heirs forever. Also the bees and hives, also a piece or field of wheat I sowed on the MC KEE land also one cow. Item: I give devise and bequeath to my brother JOHN WESTCOAT my entire personal estate after the payment of all my just debts also one set (?) of Tomb Stones for my Father's grave to be put up at the same, said Tomb Stones to be of the same style as those I procured, and put up to the grave of my mother. The cost of which and all other expenses of proving or executing this my will and all expenses which is necessary to the full settlement of my estate, is to be taken out or paid out of my personal estate. The residue of my personal estate, money or other effects other than the real property is to be given to my brother JOHN WESTCOAT by my executor as soon as convenient after the settlement of my estate. And lastly, I do hereby make and ordain my esteemed friend JOHNSTON DINSMORE executor of this my last Will and Testament reposing ..... full confidence in his integrity to perform the Trust thus committed to him in testimony whereof, I the said HESEKIAH WESTCOAT have to this my last will and testament contained on this sheet of paper subscribed my name and affixed my seal this thirteenth day of January in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five. Signed sealed published and declared by the said HESEKIAH WESTCOAT as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto. MORRISON, Register for the probate of wills, and granting Letters of Administration in and for said county personally came WILLIAM HUGGINS and JOSEPH A. MC KEE who being duly sworn according to law did depose and say that they were personally present and saw the Testator sign and seal and heard him declare the same as and for his last Will & Testament when of sound and disposing mind and memory to the best of their observation and belief, that they signed as witnesses thereto by the request of the testator in his presence and in the presence of each other, that they know of no undue influence used or later will made.
