DR. J. BAIN or BAYNE

Dr. Bain practiced medicine in Chambersburg for some years prior to 1832.  He 
was for a time in partnership with Dr. S. D. Culbertson and Dr. N. B. Lane.  Dr. 
Bain was physician to the Almshouse in 1834 and 1835.  He later removed to 
Baltimore, Md.
