DR. ANDREW BAUM

Dr. Baum was a native of Germany and a graduate of a German University.  He was 
living in Chambersburg in 1790.  He built a house nearly opposite the Falling 
Spring Church in North Main St., later owned by Colonel Elder.  Dr. Baum was a 
fine scholar and an accomplished physician.  He remained in Chambersburg about 
three years.
