D. 1856 - 1916 Dr. Blair was born 1856 at Blairs Mills, Huntingdon County. He studied medicine and was graduated M. D., 1880, from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Baltimore, Md. Dr. Blair practiced his profession for a short while at Scotland, Pa., and while there was married to a Miss Dice of that village. He then removed to the Middle West until about 1900, when he came to Chicago, and took a post-graduate course in diseases of the eye, ear, nose and throat, then went to Europe and studied in Vienna, Austria. Returning he located in the offices of the late Dr. R. W. Ramsey, and practiced his specialty here until 1915, when he removed to Philadelphia, Pa.
