BOUSE, M. D. John A. Bouse was born in Maryland, the son of a Methodist minister, who in later years preached in Greenvillage. Dr. Bouse attended the University of Pennsylvania and was graduated M. D. in 1875 from this institution. He located in Indiana and was in practice in that state until 1883 when he came to Waynesboro and practiced for several years. Later he lived in Greenvillage and then in Chambersburg. About 1890 he retired from the practice of medicine to engage in the insurance business. He was a member of the Society in 1885. His wife was Minerva Sherk of Greenvillage.
