He taught in the common schools from 1858 to 1862 and was in war service 1862 to 1865. He then began the study of medicine with Dr. R. S. Bunn, Ebensburg, Pa., and was graduated M.D. 1868 from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa. Dr. Brallier practiced medicine in Indiana County, Pa., from the time of his graduation until 1880, when he came to Chambersburg, Pa., and was in practice here until the time if his death in 1889. While here he was a member of the Medical Society. Dr. Brallier occupied the offices and house owned and used by Dr. A. H. Senseny during his lifetime and who had recently died.
