HIRAM BUHRMAN, M. D.

  Dr. Buhrman located in Funkstown about the close of the Civil War and 
practiced medicine in this vicinity for about ten years, when he died in 
Funkstown.  Dr. Buhrman signed the Call in 1868 for the reorganization of the 
Medical Society and was admitted into the Society in 1871.  His name appears as 
a member as late as 1876.
