GEORGE DAVISON CARL, M. D.
1830-1915

  George D. Carl was born in Greencastle, Pa., a son of Dr. Adam Carl.  He was 
educated at Pennsylvania College, Gettysburg, Pa., and then read medicine with 
his father and was graduated M. D. in 1855 by Pennsylvania Medical College, 
Philadelphia, Pa.

  Dr. Carl practiced medicine in Greencastle from the time of his graduation 
until his death in 1915.  He never married.
