DR. ISAAC CLUGSTON
1814-1879

  Isaac Clugston was born near Marion, this county, in 1814, the son of Robert 
and Betsy (Bonebrake) Clugston.  He studied medicine in Chambersburg and located 
at Dry Run where he began the practice of medicine.  He married, while there, 
Agnes Hammond and after a few years removed to Huntingdon County and engaged in 
the mercantile business.

  After fifteen years later he returned to Franklin County and was in business 
at Doylesburg until his death in 1879.  He was buried at Spring Run.
