HILL CRAWFORD, M. D. Julia T. Hill was born in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of M. T. and Flora (Bierce) Hill. She graduated at Oberlin College, Oberlin, O., then studied medicine and took her degree M. D., from Hahneman Medical College, Chicago, Ill., and later attended Woman's Medical College, Baltimore, and received an M. D., from this institution. Dr. Hill was for a time at the Moody Dispensary, Chicago, and from there went to Fox Lake, Wis., and was resident physician for a time in the Female College at that place. She came from there to Chambersburg and for fifteen years practiced medicine in partnership with Dr. Crawford. In 1893 she married Frederick M. Crawford, a brother of Dr. Katherine Crawford. Dr. Hill removed from the County about 1901.
