SAMUEL B. CRAWFORD Dr. S. B. Crawford was a practicing physician at Concord as early as 1815 and probably for a time before this date. He was a member of the first Medical Society in 1825. He was in practice at Concord until the time of his death in 1843. His wife's name was Lydia Kyle. Ann B. Crawford, a daughter who died in 1855, became in 1847 the second wife of Judge Joseph Pomeroy and was the maternal grandmother of Dr. Joseph Pomeroy Maclay of Chambersburg. Dr. Crawford was buried at Concord.
