D. Guy W. Davison was born December 6, 1874, in Greencastle, a son of Joseph R. and Laura V. (Wampler) Davison. He obtained his education in the schools of Greencastle and the University of Maryland. He then had a two years course at the Baltimore Medical College and a course at the Medico-Chirurgical College, Philadelphia, Pa., graduating M. D., 1903, from this last institution. Dr. Davison located in Maryland and after several years practice in that state, removed to Greencastle, Pa., and retired from active practice. He since has lived in Greencastle. Dr. Davison enlisted at the beginning of the Spanish American War, as a Corporal in Company I, 4th Pennsylvania Volunteers, and served throughout the war and was with his regiment in Porto Rico.
