DICE, M. D. Laura J. Dice was born at Scotland, Pa. the daughter of William Dice. She taught in the schools of Greene Township for a number of years and then deciding to study medicine, she entered the Women's Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa., and after the usual course was graduated M. D. in 1890 from this institution. Dr. Dice located in York, Penna., and for more than thirty years was an active and successful practitioner in that city. She died in 1923 in Seattle, Washington, while on a visit there with her brother, Kramer Dice, who for a number of years had been a resident of this western city.
