D. Joseph Enniss was born in 1875 at Burkettsville, Md., a son of William and Annie E. (Fink) Enniss. He was educated at Burkettsville Seminary and at Pennsylvania College, Gettysburg. He then studied medicine and attended the University of Pennsylvania and was graduated M. D. in 1895 from this institution. Dr. Enniss began the practice of medicine at Burkettsville, remaining one year and then removed to Baltimore, Md. In 1900 he took a post graduate course at Johns Hopkins University and in 1901 located in Waynesboro where he has since been in general practice. Dr. Enniss is a member of the Medical Society and a member of the staff of the Waynesboro Hospital. He married in 1899 Miss Lillian Mae Runnels of Hagerstown, Md.
