DR. PETER FAHNESTOCK

Dr. Fahnestock practiced medicine in Chambersburg from 1825 to 1837.  He then 
removed to Pittsburgh and after some years there removed to Indiana, where some 
years later he died.  He had practiced at Oysters Point, Cumberland County, 
prior to his locating in Chambersburg.  He was a member of the Medical Society 
in 1826 and was physician to the Almshouse in 1827.
