DR. WILLIAM FINDLAY

  Dr. Findlay practiced medicine in Shippensburg from 1815 to 1836, when he 
removed to Chambersburg and died there in 1837.  Dr. Findlay was Secretary of 
the meeting in 1825 at which a Medical Society was organized.  He was held in 
high esteem by the profession and the public.
