D. Dr. Gans was born in 1878 at Uniontown, Pa. He graduated at Freeport Academy and received his medical education at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating M. D. in 1905 from this institution. Dr. Gans registered in Allegheny County in 1905. Later he was located in Fayette County and was a member of the Fayette County Medical Society 1909 to 1914 inclusive. Dr. Gans practiced medicine in Chambersburg from 1915 to 1917 when he entered the medical service of the army in the World War. After the war he located elsewhere. Dr. Gans was a member of the Medical Society while in Chambersburg. In 1922 he was located at Camp Humphries, Va.
