A. B. GINGERICH, M. D.
1843-1886

  A. B. Gingerich was born in 1843 in Dauphin County, Pa., a son of Peter and 
Anna (Balsbaugh) Gingerich.  He received his early education in the common 
schools, read medicine with Dr. J. H. Steahley and after the usual course of 
lectures was graduated M. D., 1876, from Jefferson Medical College, 
Philadelphia, Pa.

  Dr. Gingerich located at once at Mont Alto and was in practice in this borough 
and vicinity until the time of his death.

  He married 1868 Mary C. Cassel of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
