FRANK HORNING, M. D.

  Frank Horning was born in Metal Township, Path Valley, in 1874, the son of A. 
W. and Jennie M. (Rosenberry) Horning.  He received his education in the common 
schools and at the Cumberland Valley State Normal School at Shippensburg.  He 
read medicine with Dr. D. F. Unger at Mercersburg and in due time was graduated 
M. D. in 1896 from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa.

  Dr. Horning has practiced medicine since graduation at Hellam, York County, 
Pa.  He is a member of the York County Society.  He married in 1900, Anna P. 
Welsh of York, Pa.
