DR. MAXWELL B. KENNEDY
1831-1885

  Dr. Kennedy was a practicing physician at Orrstown for eighteen or twenty 
years.  He was the son of James J. and Margaret (Cowell) Kennedy and a brother 
of the late Thomas B. Kennedy, Esq., of Chambersburg, Pa.  He removed to 
Junction City, Kansas, where he died in 1885.

  Dr. Kennedy was a signer of the Call for the reorganization of the Medical 
Society in 1868 and was admitted into the Society in 1871.

  He married Martha Orr of Orrstown.
