STEWART KENNEDY 1798 – 1852 Dr. Stewart Kennedy, born 1798, the son of William and Sarah (Stewart) Kennedy, was a physician and practiced his profession in Chambersburg, Pa. He married, 1821, Ann Ferguson. Rev. Dr. James F. Kennedy, a Presbyterian minister and noted teacher, was a son. He will be remembered as having been blind for a number of years prior to his death. Dr. Steward (sic) Kennedy died in 1852 and his wife in 1849. They both were interred in the Falling Spring Churchyard. Dr. James Stewart Kennedy was a grandson.
