D. Dr. King was a United States Army Surgeon throughout the War of the Rebellion and at its close located in Greencastle for the practice of medicine and surgery. He remained in this town for probably five years and then removed from the county. While in Greencastle Dr. King married a Miss McCauley of this town. Dr. King's body was interred in the Greencastle Cemetery.
