D. D. E. Kisecker was born in 1871 at Greencastle, Pa., a son of Mathias W. and Ann Ellen (Witherspoon) Kisecker. He attended the High School and later entered the Medical Department of the University of Illinois and received his degree M. D. in 1901 from this school. He was located for short periods at Lake Odessa, Michigan, and Anadarks, Oklahoma, and then in 1902 settled at Caldwell, Kansas, where he has been in active practice since. Dr. Kisecker served in the World War as a First Lieutenant Medical Reserve Corps, from September, 1918, to February, 1919. He is a member of the Sumner County Medical Society and the Kansas State Medical Society. Dr. Kisecker is Independent in politics and a Presbyterian by faith. July, 1905, he married Lillian S. Baker.
