WILLIAM O. LANTZ, M. D.
1856-1907

  W. O. Lantz was born in 1856 at Marion, Pa., the son of Samuel and Elizabeth 
(Myer) Lantz.  He taught in the rural schools for a number of years, then read 
medicine with Dr. George R. Kauffman at Kauffman, and was graduated M. D. in 
1882 from Jefferson Medical School, Philadelphia, Pa.

  Dr. Lantz located at once at Lemaster, where he continued in active and 
successful practice until the time of his death in 1907.  He was admitted into 
the Medical Society in 1885 and was President in 1892.

  Dr. Lantz married in 1882, Anna Rebecca Shull.
