ADAM KUHN LEBERKNIGHT 1850-1906 A. K. Leberknight was born in 1850 in Hamilton Township, a son of Daniel and Susan (Kuhn-Reymer) Leberknight. He was educated in the common schools and studied medicine with his brother, F. B. Leberknight in Newburg, Cumberland County. He then attended lectures in 1878 at Jefferson Medical College and after spending one year in practice with his brother in Newburg, he located in Orrstown in 1880, where he enjoyed a lucrative practice during his lifetime. He was for a time a member of the Medical Society. Dr. Leberknight married first, Elizabeth Easton and second, Alice R. Keefer.
