LEHMAN, M. D. Edwin F. Lehman was born in 1862, about three miles southeast of Chambersburg, along the Falling Spring in Guilford Township, the son of John S. and Elizabeth (Cosgrove) Lehman. He was educated in the public schools of the County and then studied medicine with Dr. Benjamin Frantz in Waynesboro, Pa., and attended the Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa., graduating M. D. in 1884. He located in Chambersburg and after about three years practice here, he removed to Minneapolis, Minn., where he followed his profession. In the late 1890's he went to Alaska, joining the gold rush to the Klondyke at that time. After several years spent in Alaska, he returned to Minneapolis and resumed the practice of medicine and has so continued until the present time. Dr. Lehman is the father of two daughters and one son, all three of whom are now attending medical colleges.
