D. Frank Lehman was born in Guilford Township, this County in 1873, a son of Rev. Jacob S. and Mary R. (Stauffer) Lehman. Jacob S. Lehman was for many years a Bishop in the Reformed Mennonite Church. Both he and his wife were of German descent, their ancestors being among the very earliest settlers in Lancaster County, Pa. Frank Lehman was educated in the schools of the County and studied medicine, taking the degree M. D., 1902, from Hahneman Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa. He registered at once in Franklin County and after a brief stay in Chambersburg, removed from the County. He is now (1925) located at Bristol, Pa. He was never a member of the Medical Society of Franklin County. Miss Mary Lehman, a daughter, is now a student in medicine at the Women's Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa.
