HOWARD L. McKINSTRY, M. D.

  H. L. McKinstry was born in Mercersburg and received a classical education at 
the local college.  He then studied medicine with Dr. A. H. Senseny in 
Chambersburg and was graduated M. D. in 1870 from the University of 
Pennsylvania.

  Dr. McKinstry was in practice in Mercersburg from the time of his graduation 
until 1873, when he removed to Minnesota where he followed the profession for 
many years.  He was admitted to the Medical Society in 1871.

  Dr. McKinstry married in 1871, Mary Broderick of Baltimore, Md.
