D. 1856 - 1896 Daniel B. Palmer was born in 1856 several miles east of Chambersburg in Guilford Township, the son of Daniel and Mary (Jamison) Palmer. He received his education in the common schools and then had a course at a Commercial College, Dr. Palmer read medicine with Dr. E. N. Senseny in Chambersburg, attended lectures and was graduated M. D. in 1882 from the Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa. Dr. Palmer located in Indiana and practiced medicine in that State until 1891, when he removed to Philadelphia, Pa., and continued to practice in this city until his death in 1896. He married, in 1882, Katherine Gross of Souderton, Pa.
