S., M. D. Theodore Peters was born at Walden, N. Y., in 1889, a son of Dr. J. B. and Adaline (Lewis) Peters. He received his education in the public schools and at Hamilton College, Clinton, N. Y., graduating B. S., 1911. He attended the full medical course at the University of Pennsylvania graduating M. D., 1915, from this school. Dr. Peters then served an Internship in the Germantown Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa., and located 1917 in Chambersburg for the practice of his profession. He is a member of the Medical Society and of the Staff of the Chambersburg Hospital. For the last several years he has held the position of Medical Inspector of the Borough Schools. Dr. Peters served in the Medical Corps, U. S. N. A., from August 17, 1917, to January 8, 1919. His first assignment was to Field Hospital No. 22, as First Lieutenant. May 17, 1918, he was made Captain, M. C. U. S. A., and was Commanding Officer of Corps Hospital No. 107, Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. Dr. Peters is a member of Falling Spring Presbyterian Church, and a Republican in politics. June 17, 1917, he married Miss Miriam L. Lenhardt, of Norristown, Pa.
