DR. QUARTERS

  Dr. Quarters is mentioned by Dr. John Montgomery in "Medical Society of 
Franklin County --1892" as the first physician to locate in Greencastle prior to 
1788.  So far as is now known there is no record of this physician and tradition 
has failed to preserve his name.
