MATTHEW ROBINSON, M. D.
1820-1874

  Matthew Robinson was born near Greencastle in 1820, and was a student in 
medicine with Dr. J. K. Davison, Greencastle, Pa.  He was graduated M. D. in 
1847 from the Washington Medical College, Baltimore.  Dr. Robinson began the 
practice of medicine in Mercersburg and a few years later removed to Newville, 
Cumberland County, where he was in active practice until his death in 1874.

  His wife was Martha Rankin of Greencastle.
