RUBY, M. D. 1829-1881 Cyrus B. Ruby was born in Chambersburg, the son of Judge Henry Ruby and his wife, Rebecca Senseny, a daughter of Abraham Senseny. Henry Ruby and Rebecca Senseny were married in 1826 and Cyrus B. Ruby was the second child born in this union. Dr. Ruby began the practice of medicine in Orrstown in 1851 or 1852 and remained in this town until 1860 when he removed to Shippensburg and after five or six years in the grain and produce business, became the proprietor of a drug store, in which business he continued until his death in 1881. Dr. Ruby was a graduate of Jefferson Medical College.
