SALA, M. D. Dr. Miquel E. Sala was born October 3, 1902, in Porto Rica. His preliminary education was obtained in the primary and High Schools of Arielbo, P. R., and later he attended the University of Porto Rica. He entered Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa., in 1920 and was graduated M. D. 1924 by this institution. After serving an internship of one year in St. Joseph's Hospital, Reading, Pa., he returned to Porto Rica and made a study of Tropical medicine. In 1926 Dr. Sala returned to the United States, and since then has been connected with the Pennsylvania State Sanatorium for Tuberculosis, at South Mountain, Pa., in the capacity of Assistant Physician. Dr. Sala has been licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania and in Porto Rica since 1925.
