D. W. E. Seibert was born at Fannettsburg, Pa., on October 31, 1893, a son of James B. and Priscilla (Skinner) Seibert. He received his education at the Chambersburg High School and then in 1912 and 1913 took the Pre-medical Course at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa. After the usual course he was graduated M. D., in 1917, by this same institution, and spent one year as Intern in the Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, Pa. June 14, 1918, Dr. Seibert was commissioned First Lieutenant in the Medical Corps, U. S. A., and was honorably discharged July 25, 1919. He served at Fort Oglethorpe and later at Camp Lee in the 48th Motor Ambulance Company. Since 1919 Dr. Seibert has practiced medicine at Greencastle, Pa. He is a member of the Medical Society and by faith a Presbyterian. Dr. Seibert married Mary Louise Wainwright, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. L. C. Wainwright, Vienna, Va.
