SENSENY, M.D. 1845 – 1884 Dr. E. N. Senseny, the last of the Senseny line was born 1845 in Chambersburg, Pa., a son of Dr. Abraham H. and Jane K. (Davis) Senseny. He was educated at Chambersburg Academy and then read medicine with his father and was graduated, with honor, M. D., 1870, from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa. He returned at once to Chambersburg and shared his father's extensive practice. It is said, "He was a physician of rare ability and a courtly and talented gentleman." His death occurred October 2, 1884. Dr. Senseny was admitted to the Medical Society in 1871. He is buried in the Falling Spring Churchyard.
