C. Senseny was born 1839 in Chambersburg, a son of Dr. Abraham H. and Jane K. (Davis) Senseny. He received a classical education, studied medicine with his father, and was graduated M. D., 1861. He died shortly after his graduation, aged twenty-two years. Just prior to his fatal illness he had received a commission as Surgeon in the Union Army. He is buried in Falling Spring Churchyard.
