SHULL, M. D. Wm. M. Shull was born August 14, 1859, in Perry County, the youngest son of Frederick and Alvina (Albert) Shull. He was reared on the farm and received a good education and began teaching school at the age of eighteen. He taught for five years, a portion of this time as an assistant at Wilson College. In 1882 he began the study of medicine, first with Dr. McMorris at Duncannon and later with Dr. Stricker at New Bloomfield. He was graduated M. D. in 1885 from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa. Dr. Shull located at once at Blaine, Perry County, remaining one year and then in 1886 he located at Concord, this county, where he was in active practice for about ten years, when he removed from this county. Dr. Shull was not a member of the Medical Society.
