WILLIAM BRITTON SHUMAN, M. D.
1882-1913

  W. B. Shuman was born in 1882 in Upper Strasburg, a son of Phillip Shuman.  He 
was a graduate M. D. in 1907 from Medico Chirurgical College, Philadelphia, Pa.

  After graduation he located in Upper Strasburg and was in practice here until 
his death in 1913.  Dr. Shuman was a member of the Medical Society for a time in 
1911.

  He married Edith West, a daughter of Dr. C. B. West of Upper Strasburg.
