D. 1862-1911 Dr. Strock was born in 1862 at St. Thomas, the son of Jacob and Rachael (Gelwicks) Strock. He attended the Chambersburg Academy and Pennsylvania College, Gettysburg, and then read medicine with Dr. Ramsey at St. Thomas. After the usual course he was graduated M. D. in 1886 from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa. He at once located at St. Thomas in partnership with Dr. Ramsey. After several years this partnership was dissolved and Dr. Strock continued to practice alone at St. Thomas during the remainder of his lifetime. He was admitted to the Medical Society in 1895. He married in 1891, Anna B. Maxheimer of St. Thomas.
