LEWIS FREDERICK SUESSEROTT, M.D.

1856 – 1907

Dr. L. F. Suesserott was a son of Dr. J. L. Suesserott and was born 1856 in 
Chambersburg, Pa., in the Suesserott homestead.  He continued to live in this 
same house during his entire lifetime.

He was educated at the Chambersburg Academy and then read medicine with his 
father and was graduated M.D., 1879, from the University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. 
Suesserott practiced medicine with his father until the latter's death, and then 
continued alone in the same office until his death in 1907.

He was admitted into the Medical Society in 1880 and was Coroner of the County 
1884-1886.

In 1884 he married Miss Minnie E. Gilbert of Chambersburg, Pa.
