D. C. P. Swett was born June 21, 1902, at Albany, Athens County, Ohio, a son of George Davis Swett, M. D., and his wife, nee Victoria Nichols. He graduated from Albany High School in 1919 and attended Ohio University 1919 to 1921. He then matriculated at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa., and was graduated M. D. in 1925 by this institution. Dr. Swett served one year as intern in the Harrisburg, Pa., Hospital and since 1926 has been a member of the Medical Staff of the Pennsylvania State Sanatorium for Tuberculosis, South Mountain, Pa. Dr. Swett is a member of the "Sons and Daughters of the First Settlers of Newbury, Mass.," also a member of Phi-Chi Medical Fraternity, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Fraternity. He is a Republican politically and by faith a Presbyterian and is not married.
